Kingston Wheelers rider, John Storms, was the fastest man on Caterham Round Tables’ 0.31 mile long, 210 ft climb of  the Waller Lane hill in Caterham this year.

Over 40 riders took to the hill on Sunday (10/06) to test themselves against this short but gruelling challenge.

Narrowly missing Matthew Pilkingtons’ course record set last year (1:14), John posted a very impressive time of 1:17 to take the ‘King of the Hill’ title with an average speed of 14.494 mph.

Local man, Mark Pettifor was the fastest of the fun riders with a very creditable 2:37 while in the youth category, Oliver Cliff from the Velo Club recorded a superb 1:39.
