Get ready for the May-the-Forth-be-with-you social media frenzy.
Back in the real-world social network of Caterham Round Table… We started May with a social pub night, frequenting the Harrow Pub in Caterham for their £5 fish-n-chips meal deal.
We welcomed a handful of guests, who came to see what we are about and to meet the guys. Whilst not a meeting as such, the smaller teams began discussing over a drink, the details for the upcoming their upcoming events. There’s the Monopoly Pub Crawl, Dad’s-and-kids’ camp, Waller Pain Cycle Hillclimb, the Mummers Play pub tour and not forgetting the big stuff on the far horizon of the Caterham Beer Festival and Caterham Fireworks.
The publican of the Harrow was kind enough to allow Paul to sell tickets to the customers for the raffle of a Caterham Car in aid of Sunnydown School (199 tickets at £100 each).
Better odds than the lottery! Details on how to get your raffle ticket.
Be quick as quick as a Caterham car, as there are not many.
Also there are tickets left to go to the Black tie Ball. That’s date-night sorted! “You are welcome.” 🙂

The Caterham Round Table had their casual dinner night at Coulsdon Manor Hotel for a few drinks, good food and we invited the Breck Foundation to give us their insight to their #PlayVirtualLiveReal Online safety campaign.
As most of the Tablers have kids or young adults themselves the short talk proved very informative. We were so happy to help them out to keep delivering the importance of Safety on Line.

for Men Aged 18-45 in Caterham, we plan to add our events to the ‘MeetUp’ website – this will give you all some insight into what we do when we meet up.
We are not a Closed-society, and we always welcome new prospective members, extending the hospitality to nominating someone to pick you up, host you and drop you of at home afterward. Sorted!
Being the public schedule on ‘Meet Up, means you can accept an invite to come along, meet us and make contact, or even give us a try and see if being a Caterham Round Table is for you. No pressure.
We look forward to hearing form you. We will post our events up soon.

Well done to our very own Caterham Round Table – Gareth Parr
a formidable sub 3hr 5min time is some achievement.
The other Tablers are sure to buy you a drink at the next meeting.
For the nerds, who love stats – Voila

- Thank you to all, for your participation and your kind donations.
- The biggest vote of thanks, still goes to the volunteers who made the event happen. Their valuable contribution of time and effort helps our community enjoy such events.
- Don’t forget, that all proceeds of the event go to local good causes. A great deal of money was raised on the night. Once the bills are paid-in-full, we will announce the amount your raised.
